ADI began as an employee-owned company in 1945 and has grown steadily over the past 60 years. Professionals, scientists, technicians and support staff have experience working on projects in over 30 countries around the globe.

Patents are held in water and wastewater treatment processes that are incorporated as complete treatment systems or as separate packages. ADI also holds patents on geomembrane cover systems and hydrogen sulfide removal from gas streams. Research and development is ongoing in the pursuit of future market-driven technology.

In recognition of ADI's dedication to excellence, national and regional awards have been bestowed on the company for innovation, growth, and management excellence, including the "Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies" award.

ADI believes in supporting the communities in which it operates. It is a regular contributor to charitable organizations, hospitals, community initiatives, and funds four annual university scholarships for engineering students.
